A wealthy, swaggering husband attempts to tame his strong-willed new wife. Shakespeare's comic battle of the sexes was heavily revamped for Mary Pickford and Douglas Fairbanks and reissued in a revised version in 1966, one year before the Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton remake.
