The Builder

A carpenter from Ireland immigrates to America and embarks on an obsessive quest to construct an early American-style cape house in rural New York. Falling ever deeper into debt as his expectations soar an all time high, the determined builder wrestles with a debilitating case of mental and physical exhaustion while bitterly acknowledging the growing ambivalence of society at large.
