The Lawn Boy

A lonely career woman finds love where she least expects it, and fights to prevent racism from ruining a good thing in this independent romantic comedy. When Jennifer meets Michael, there's an instant connection. But while Jennifer is a white woman with big career ambitions, Michael is a respectful lawn boy from the hood who just wants to do right by his mom. Try as Jennifer and Michael might to make love work, it seems like there's always someone on either side who refuse to believe that love can be colorblind. Whether it's Michael's pushy sister or Jennifer's pompous parents, everyone has something to say about the relationship, yet no one seems willing to consider the thoughts of the happy couple.
