I'm Still Here...Damn It!

Comic and actress Sandra Bernhard merges humor, satire, and performance art in this film adaptation of her one-woman Broadway show. Alternately brutal and insightful, Bernhard discusses a number of subjects near to her heart, including Rosie O'Donnell, Courtney Love, Fleetwood Mac, and Mariah Carey in a performance that Newsweek described as "venomously yummy." It was photographed during the show's San Francisco run by Oscar-winning cinematographer Haskell Wexler; originally prepared for broadcast on the HBO cable network, the home video edition adds 30 minutes of additional material.
