Curse of the Vampires [Blu-ray]

Also known as Creatures of Evil, Curse of the Vampires is one of the best and most complicated horror films to come out of the Philippines. Eddie Garcia returns to his family after a long absence to find there's been some changes in the family structure. For starters, Eddie's mother is a vampire, who soon infects her son with the urge to ingest human blood. When Eddie's father kills his mom to end the vampire strain, Eddie does in dad. A wealth of inter-family murders follow until all that is left is Eddie's vampirized sister. In a remarkable juxtaposition of terror and spirituality (especially for so Catholic a country as the Philippines), the sister is dispatched when a crucifix is driven into her heart.
