"Steven Spielberg's A.I. comes to DVD with this two-disc set. The disc offers a standard full-frame transfer. English soundtracks are rendered in Dolby Digital 5.1, DTS 5.1 and Dolby Digital Surround, while a French soundtrack has been recorded in Dolby Digital 5.1 as well. Spanish and French subtitles are accessible, and all three English soundtracks are closed captioned. Supplemental materials include a making-of featurette concerning the film's genesis with Stanley Kubrick, interviews with the cast and crew, storyboards, trailers, and tons of footage on the creation of the special effects. This is a fine package, but it suffers in comparison to the widescreen edition of these discs that is also available."
