"Barry Levinson's comedy Envy, starring Jack Black and Ben Stiller, sat on the shelf for a over a year until its short and rather unnoticed theatrical release. The film arrives on DVD with a pair of transfers. The widescreen anamorphic transfer preserves the original theatrical aspect ratio of 1.85:1 and is preferable to the standard full-frame image. English and French soundtracks are rendered in Dolby Digital 5.1. English, French, and Spanish subtitles are accessible. Supplemental materials include a compendium of Jack Black's best moments in the film, biographies of the cast and crew, and a still-photo gallery. This is a decent release from Universal."
