"1960s and 1970s screen icon Steve McQueen headlined the three-season western Wanted: Dead or Alive from 1958-61 on CBS, and graduated to stardom partially on the basis of this role; the program actually began in March 1958 as an episode of the series Trackdown. McQueen starred as Josh Randall, a virtually emotionless 19th Century bounty hunter cruising the west for criminals, and wielding a most unusual gun called a ""Mare's Leg"" - a .30-.40 sawed off carbine handled like a pistol but capable of delivering far more deadly and explosive force. This set contains all 32 half-hour episodes of Season Two, which aired between September 1959 and May 1960."
