Chandra (Dayahang Rai) returns to his hometown in rural Nepal after more than ten years away to organize his father's funeral. He reunites briefly with his brother (Rabindra Singh Baniya), despite their different political beliefs, but another argument forces Chandra to navigate the quirks of the local culture without his sibling's help.
