This sci-fi anime film, adapted from the novel of the same name by Project Itoh, follows a young Japanese woman named Tuan Kirie as she and her social circle try to find their place in a world that has become obsessed with perfect health. As Tuan searches for a rebellious former friend, waves of mass suicides are used as a protest tool against oppressive governments around the globe. Directed by Michael Arias and Takashi Nakamura.
