The Apocalypse Watch

"Artisan Home Entertainment's full-screen digital mastering of this television movie suffers from dark contrast in just about every scene; foregrounds and backgrounds are consistently dark and the lighting refuses to sharpen the focus or brighten the colors, which may betray the budgetary limitations of this overlong thriller. For some reason, the film has an odd 1980s look to it. The Dolby 2.0 sound works well, with the dialog, sound effects, and nearly nonstop score coming in at pleasing levels, particularly during the action set pieces."
