"Charles Beeson's retelling of the Swiss Family Robinson story, Stranded, comes to DVD with a pair of transfers. The widescreen transfer has an aspect ratio of 1.77:1, and is preferable to the standard full-frame transfer. The English soundtrack is rendered in Dolby Digital Surround. There are no subtitles, but the soundtrack is closed-captioned. There are no supplemental materials of any consequence, making this disc difficult to recommend to anyone who is not a genre enthusiast. That said, this Artisan release is family-friendly."
