Singaporean director Eric Khoo's heart-warming family drama follows a young Japanese ramen chef (Takumi Saitoh) from Takasaki to a Singaporean bak kut teh stall in his quest to understand his late parents' love story (his father was Japanese; his mother was Singaporean). He reunites with his maternal grandmother and uncle ? and eventually finds closure in the kitchen.
