Based on a novel by Vassili Vassilikos, this film stars Yves Montand as a Greek pacifist leader who is killed by a speeding truck. The police rule the death as accidental. But journalist Jean-Louis Trintignant, smelling a rat, launches his own investigation. His findings unearth a neo-fascist campaign of terror.
