The Magician [Criterion Collection]

In one of Ingmar Bergman's earlier films, Max Von Sydow plays the title character, who brings his fantastical troupe to a village inhabited primarily by skeptics. The magician decides to turn the tables on the town by using his illusions to make them rethink reality.
