La Notte [Criterion Collection]

This film focuses on a mutually-adulterous couple precariously close to break up after a ten year marriage. Giovanni is a successful writer trying to recapture the inspiration that made him famous. The couple is consumed by loneliness and tries one last time to save their marriage.
