"Disney's animated adventure The Black Cauldron comes to DVD with a widescreen transfer that preserves the original theatrical aspect ratio of 2.35:1. The English soundtrack is rendered in Dolby Digital 5.1, and Spanish and French soundtracks have been recorded in Dolby Digital Surround. There are no subtitles, but the English soundtrack is closed captioned. Supplemental materials include a still frame gallery, a short cartoon with Donald Duck, and an interactive game called Quest of the Black Cauldron. This is a solid, entertaining disc that should please every member of the family."
