Intrepid Descent

Since the 1920s, Tuckerman Ravine has served as a temptation and a trial for only the bravest of skiers. Lesser men and women might be frightened away by the chasm that boasts almost 90-degree drops covered by ice and snow, but these risk-takers have courted death for the chance at conquering the gorge that sits near the top of Mount Washington. For those without the necessary gear (or the spirit), this documentary scales to the top of the ravine and then takes the plunge into the heart of Tuckerman Ravine.
