Semper Fi: Marines in World War II - The Beginning of the End

This documentary employs archival footage of WWII battles to explain how the United States Marine Corps steadily advanced on the islands in the Pacific Ocean until control of the area was so secure that the military could begin regular bombing runs into the heart of Japan. Among the famous battles discussed are Saipan, Iwo Jima, and Okinawa.
