The War File: Battlefield - The Battle for the Mediterranean

This one hour and forty minute program examines how the WWII Allies battled for control of the Mediterranean, North Africa and the Middle East. Through archival footage and analysis, the show details how battles involving the British Navy, Italian Navy, German Luftwaffe and other military branches determined possession of the important lands, and how the oft forgotten war in Greece effected the outcome of the war in the region.
