This war-themed documentary provides a brief overview of the evolution of submarine warfare over the ages, from the concept of underwater subs as devised in the Civil War, up through the emergence of nuclear submarines in the late 20th and early 21st centuries. In so doing, the program draws from a combination of archival footage and CG-animated sequences.
