The RAF at War: 1918-1939

"The seven-part documentary series The RAF at War examines the shifting roles, responsibilities, capabilities and accomplishments of the British Royal Air Force, over the course of roughly 100 years. This box set - subtitled 1918-39 - contains the first and second episodes of the program, plus one bonus installment. Episode 1, 'Useless for the Purpose of War,' discusses the early evolution of British aircraft during the 1900s; Episode 2, 'Under Distant Skies,' moves into the 1920s and 1930s, when the RAF patrolled the furthest reaches of the British Empire. Finally, a bonus episode 'The A-Z of RAF Aircraft,' etches out profiles of several different RAF aircraft models, from the early RFC through contemporary times."
