American Streetballers

Junior college basketball players John Hogan and Jacob Whitmore provide each other with support both on and off the court while struggling to make a name for themselves in their chosen sport. When Jacob's cousin Damon becomes indebted to a local gangster, the young athlete joins an underground league in order to raise enough quick cash to keep the thugs at bay. Meanwhile, John becomes consumed with guilt after his brother kills a neighborhood boy while driving drunk, and dedicates his game to the memory of the tragic victim.
