An unassuming statistics professor abducts a young woman he sees jogging in the park with a baby, imprisoning her in his basement in order to steal her mother's milk. The kidnapping goes awry, however, when the dysfunctional professor discovers that the woman is in fact the child's aunt. Over the course of the next few weeks, the pair enters into a precarious relationship that threatens to end in tragedy.
