Laibach: Divided States of America

Award-winning Slovenian filmmaker Saso Podgorsek follows notorious German industrial outfit Laibach as the band embarks on their 2004 North American and takes an up-close look at a nation sharply divided by the recent presidential election. With the specter of September 11, 2001 still looming large over the psyche of many Americans and the race between George W. Bush and John Kerry highlighting the ever-widening chasm between Red and Blue states, Laibach kicks off their tour in Washington, D.C. before blasting across the nation on a fifteen city tour that shake a nation. Additional footage of the band performing live in Paris is also included.
