Isolated: Funkstorung Triple Media [With Book]

Comprised of two members - Michael Fakesch and Chris de Luca - the German band Funkstorung sustains a reputation for cultivating and performing ambient techno music. Ambient techno melds soothing, often surreal ambient visuals with slightly dissonant yet rhythmic techno sounds; Fakesch and de Luca run the aural and visual elements concurrently. The pair planned the release Isolated: Funkstorung Triple Media exclusively for at-home audiences; it features original compositions written and performed by the band, played atop music videos and original short films from the band's March 2004 Disconnected EP, on the K7 label.
