Astor Piazzola: Live at the Montreal Jazz Festival

Director Pierre Lacombe shot this concert performance of accordion maestro (and tango expert) Astor Piazzolla's July 4, 1984 performance at the Montreal Jazz Festival. Selections in this 52-minute set include: "Tristeza de un Doble A," "Chin Chin," "Lunfardo" and "Muerte del Angel." Piazzolla's accompanists, here, include pianist Pablo Ziegler and violinist Fernando Su?rez Paz.
