Globe Trekker: Uruguay & Paraguay

Globe Trekker host Holly Morris emcees this armchair travel journey through two of South America's most fascinating and least-appreciated countries: Paraguay and Uruguay. The trek begins in Uruguay's capital city of Montevideo, where Holly samples the local cuisine and examines the beautiful colonial architecture of the city, then ventures to the Uruguayan beach for a carnival event, drives along the country's coastline, and participates in a gaucho festival. Later, Morris ventures into Paraguay, where her stops include Asunci?n and Trinidad and her activities include visiting lakeside resorts ,touring Jesuit missions and chatting with hunter gatherers at a nature reserve.
