Roger Corman's 1978 original is re-made in this made-for-television movie. When some secretly mutated piranhas are accidentally released, it becomes a race against time to stop them before they wipe out local vacationers. William Katt and Alexandria Paul star as the unlikely duo who team up to stop the deadly flesh-eating fish as they head for a summer camp site on a resort lake.
