Venus in Furs

The story of this supernatural drama wavers between reality and fantasy as it follows the weird experiences of a jazz musician working in Rio who one night sees a lesbian, a homosexual, and a sadist murdering a beautiful girl. Later her mutilated corpse washes up on a lonely beach. Things get really strange when a few months later he meets a woman who looks just like the slain girl. This woman begins getting revenge upon her killers. Eventually, he realizes that she is some sort of "angel of death." The story features graphic scenes of sadism, occult rites and sexual encounters. It is based on a short novel by Leopold von Sacher-Masoch.
