Détective [Blu-ray]

Intertwining characters, businesses and intrigues in a Paris hotel, set with a contrived film noir ambiance that palls after the first fifteen minutes, this was Jean-Luc Godard's tribute to John Cassavetes, Edgar Ulmar and Clint Eastwood. The movie seems to have more feel than substance, more atmosphere than plot.
