In her only "scare" film, Carole Lombard stars as a young heiress victimized by unscrupulous spiritualist Alan Dinehart. It turns out, however, that the mystic's power is real: Lombard is possessed by the spirit of Dinehart's onetime mistress, an executed murderess.
