Hello, Bookstore

Director A.B. Zax tells the true story of a community's efforts to keep their beloved bookshop open during the COVID-19 pandemic. In Lenox, Massachusetts, Matthew Tannenbaum has answered the phone with, "Hello, bookstore" since 1976. But when the pandemic struck, his livelihood and the shop itself were threatened. Instead of closing, though, Matthew's loyal customers rallied around the store, finding creative ways to keep it both operational and thriving. The documentary is a chronicle of that effort and a tale of the passion that a community has for a local businessman.
