The Chinese Princess Turandot sends several suitors to the guillotine before meeting one with a hidden identity who knows the answers to her riddles. Before revealing the identity of the suitor, a slave girl takes her own life. The princess sees her mistake and reveals her love for the suitor and is married to him.
