Ohguri: Violin Concerto; Fantasy on Osaka Folk Tunes

Detective Jess Hambrick and Detective Roy Hartman of the Hampton, Virginia Police Department, are called to a mansion on Chesapeake Avenue in the early hours of the morning. It is the home of Carlton Bramton, CEO and founder of the Bramton department store chain. Carlton Bramton has been found murdered in his bed. Someone has shoved a letter opener through his heart.

When the Detectives arrived at the Bramton home, they found a wife, two sons and a housekeeper. They all had the opportunity to kill Bramton, but only the oldest son had a strong motive and he had an alibi.

Jess and Hartman soon learned the painful lesion of what could happen when you attempted to investigate the filthy rich. Most of them were armed with warnings and threats and the money to back them up. After many weeks of chasing blind leads, trying to work with expensive lawyers and working to keep their tempers in check, the Detectives finally caught a break.

They found it to be one of their most interesting cases, but one they didn't care to repeat.
