When a tradition-bound mom Emma (Sharon Omi) needs a place to stay after a separation, she turns to her son Elliot (Teddy Chen Culver), a chef in a Chinese restaurant. Realizing he's gay is a shock, but their mutual love of food helps reconcile them once again.
