"Better known for his performance as the Phantom, Michael Crawford does solid work in Barnum. The disc offers a standard full-frame transfer. The English soundtrack is rendered in Dolby Digital Stereo. There are neither closed-captions nor subtitles on this release. Although there are no special features, Crawford's many fans will consider his singing in this musical spectacular special enough to make the disc worthwhile. While this Waterbearer disc will have little appeal for the average DVD consumer, musical theater enthusiasts should enjoy it."
