Whisky Galore

The inhabitants of a remote Scottish island, deprived of whiskey due to rationing during World War II, are thrilled to learn that a shipwrecked vessel nearby contains 50,000 cases of their beloved booze. The community work to hide the discovery from the British authorities, all while planning two weddings for the daughters of the local shopkeeper (Gregor Fisher). Eddie Izzard co-stars.
