A boy Cinderella story with a hip-hop attitude. Charlie is a teenager with dreams of leaving his life sweeping floors for music stardom. Kadee Worth is at the top of the charts, but is caged by her record executive father. A record-producer who sees in Charlie a kindred spirit, gives him a chance to record a demo and to perform in front of a masquerade ball that includes Kadee Worth. With the danger of being discovered by his stepfather, Charlie performs behind a mask as the alter ego "Rags".
