A widower sets out to uncover the reason for the murder of his wife. He returns to his home town where many years earlier a mentally ill ventriloquist was cruelly killed by the local residents. Now the dead entertainer's vengeful dummy is rumoured to haunt the area and the bereaved husband suspects the menacing doll holds the key to his spouse's untimely demise.
