With their remarkable updating of the traditional Japanese drumming style known as "taiko," the Kodo ensemble has gained worldwide notoriety after breaking through the international music scene in the mid-'90s. Featuring 19 musicians, and including both flute and chanting, Kodo teams with Kabuki theater art director Tamasaburo Bando to bring music lovers the ultimate percussion experience.
