"As if the wrenching subject matter of Sound and Fury isn't heartbreaking enough at 77 minutes, the DVD version gives you about 20 minutes extra of outtakes, interviews, and entire sequences that didn't make the final cut. Not that they were not worthy, but they would have bogged down the focus of the documentary; putting them aside in this manner with their own chapter serves both the main film and the outtakes in the best possible manner. The high-resolution video footage hasn't been cleaned up for the outtakes -- it looks like your home videos played back on your TV -- but that doesn't diminish the impact of what you're seeing. The sound is Dolby Digital Stereo, so the disc sounds only slightly better than regular TV."
