Classical vocalists Christoph Genz, Cyndia Sieden and Josef Wagner co-headline this special production of Christoph Martin Wieland and Anton Schweitzer's 1773 opera +Alceste, mounted here in honor of the reopening of the Anna Amalia Library in Weimar, Germany. The Concerto K?ln and the Kammerchor Michaelstein, the latter under the baton of Michael Hofstetter, provide musical accompaniment.
