Three paratroopers from the 517th Parachute Regimental Combat Team (PRCT) land in the south of France during the fiercest fighting of World War II, and find their mission to aid Allied troops on their march to Berlin sidetracked upon encountering a band of French Resistance fighters who plead for help in liberating a group of Parisian POWs.
