"Ron Kelly's tale of friendship between a human and a bear, King of the Grizzlies, comes to DVD with a standard full-frame transfer. The English soundtrack is rendered in Dolby Digital 5.1. There are no subtitles, but the soundtrack is closed-captioned. There are no supplemental materials of any consequence, making it difficult to recommend this Disney/Buena Vista release to anyone other than a genre enthusiast, or someone looking for family friendly entertainment. Sadly, there is little here for the average DVD consumer."
