"Rob Bowman's futuristic dragon film Reign of Fire comes to DVD with a widescreen anamorphic transfer that preserves the original theatrical aspect ratio of 2.35:1. English soundtracks are rendered in both Dolby Digital 5.1 and DTS 5.1, and a French soundtrack recorded in Dolby Digital 5.1. Spanish subtitles are accessible, and both English soundtracks are closed-captioned. Supplemental materials include an interview with the director, the original theatrical trailer, and a pair of featurettes concerning the technical aspects of special effects and their production.
