Motor City metal head Ace Spade discovers an electric guitar possessed by the spirit of murdered rock star Eddie Lee Stryker, and uses its powers to prevent the same crime boss responsible for the rocker's death from sabotaging the upcoming Battle of the Bands. With a little help from his trusty axe, Ace transforms into a rampaging metal beast capable of crushing his enemies with a single blow, and wages a vicious fight to keep the spirit of rock and roll alive.
