Twin Peaks: Fire Walk with Me

"After the TV series ended, Twin Peaks creator David Lynch took to the silver screen for the prequel Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me. New Line has made sure that this 1.85:1 anamorphic widescreen transfer looks very well rendered. All of the color schemes and black levels appear very vibrant and solid. No imperfections of any kind are spotted anytime during this film. The audio is presented in Dolby Digital 5.1 Surround, DTS, and Dolby 2.0 (in French). The DTS and Dolby 5.1 soundtracks are very full and bombastic, utilizing surround sounds through the front and rear speakers during many of the key scenes. All aspects of the dialogue, effects, and music are very clear and concise. Also included on this disc are English and French subtitles. This version of Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me includes only two extra features which may disappoint die-hard fans. The first is a half hour ""Making Of"" documentary that includes interviews with cast members, and the second a theatrical trailer for the film presented in anamorphic widescreen. While this edition of Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me could have been a bit more expansive, fans should be happy to finally have this film on DVD."
