The Little Vampire

"Uli Edel's family friendly vampire movie The Little Vampire comes to DVD with a pair of transfers. The widescreen anamorphic transfer preserves the original theatrical aspect ratio of 1.85:1, and is preferable in every way to the standard full-frame image. Closed-captioned English soundtracks are rendered in both Dolby Digital 5.1 and Dolby Digital Surround. English subtitles are accessible. Supplemental materials include interactive games, monster themed jokes, and recipes for monster themed snacks. Those with a DVD-ROM drive can access the film's website, a screensaver, and can jump from the script to that point in the film. No matter what one thinks of the film, this is a strong release from New Line that contains extras to entertain every member of the family."
