"The IMAX look at Earth, Blue Planet, comes to DVD with a standard full-frame transfer that does a fine job of capturing the clarity of the original image, but obviously cannot replicate the size of the IMAX experience. English and French soundtracks are rendered in Dolby Digital 5.1. English, Spanish, French, and Portuguese subtitles are accessible. There are no supplemental materials of any consequence, but fans of the IMAX format as well as space documentary enthusiasts should enjoy this release from PBS Home Video."
